The purpose of this article is to demonstrate object-oriented design in JavaScript, by creating a jQuery powered image gallery script from scratch. Note that we are not creating a jQuery plugin, but simply using jQuery for DOM selection and manipulation. In the near future, this article might be updated to jQuery plugin version.

Change default theme to specified folder : CodeIgniter
Change default theme to specified folder : CodeIgniterI have started to work on new CodeIgniter project. Its a theme based project, so I have created theme folder called ‘default’ in ‘application/views’. Now i have to call this view using my controller. In CodeIgniter I have to call login.php like
$this->load->view(‘default/login’);
But why I have to type ‘default’ every time.So I have created this below file to simplify this.
Added line in config/definitions.php
define(‘THEME_DIR’, ’default’);
and Created New file [My_Loader.php] in core directory with the blow contents
<?php
class MY_Loader extends CI_Loader
{
public function view($view, $vars = array(), $return = FALSE)
{return parent::view(THEME_DIR.’/’.$view, $vars , $return );
}
}
Now you can call using the below simple line with out ‘detault’ text.
$this->load->view(‘login’);
Hope this helps to some one…
Interactive Map | jQuery
Interactive Map | jQueryTo make the map as engaging as possible, there needed to be smooth animations and crisp graphics. Traditionally such a project would require the use of Flash. We try to avoid Flash whenever possible, so I began to consider how the project could be accomplished in jQuery.
